Michael Hanson, PhD

Senior U.S. Economist

Michael Hanson is a senior U.S. economist at BofA Merrill Lynch Global Research. Hanson has nearly 20 years of experience as an economist in financial markets, the Federal Reserve System and academia. In his current role, he is responsible for analysis of Federal Reserve and budgetary policy and modeling the U.S. economy, with particular emphasis on inflation. He meets regularly with clients across the firm’s business lines, publishes weekly commentary on economics and policy and has appeared in printed, radio and televised media. Prior to joining the firm, Hanson worked as an economist in the Monetary Affairs division of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors and as a senior economist at Lehman Brothers. He also has held positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Wesleyan University and Yale School of Management. He has published academic research in macroeconomics, monetary policy and econometrics. Mr. Hanson graduated cum laude with honors from the University of Pennsylvania with bachelor’s degrees from both the College of Arts and Sciences and The Wharton School. He earned his master’s degree in mathematics at New York University and his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Michigan.

Prior to that she  worked  in Department of American and Oceanian Affairs, Ministry of Commerce of China as a Deputy Director, Director, and then Deputy Director General from 1998 to 2006.  She also worked as Third Secretary, then Second Secretary, Chinese Embassy in the US from 1995 to 1998. Parisa Karaahmet

Prior to joining Fragomen, Parisa served as an Assistant District Counsel and Acting Deputy District Counsel for the Immigration & Naturalization Service, New York District. At Fragomen, she leads a team that specializes in individual and complex immigration matters and also manages a number of corporate accounts. Her area of specialty includes advising clients with respect to criminal and other inadmissibility grounds, employer sanctions, E-verify and I-9 compliance and enforcement. On the corporate Compliance advisory group side, Parisa represents a variety of large, mid-size and smaller companies in their immigration matters, including those in the financial services, medical, pharmaceutical, and technology sectors. She also regularly advises academic institutions and hospitals in their immigration matters. Parisa has been a faculty member/presenter for the Judicial Institute at Pace University and a guest lecturer at Cardozo Law School and is a frequent speaker at national conferences on a variety of immigration topics such as employer sanctions, I-9 compliance, and criminal immigration issues.  Parisa has presented at panel events sponsored by the Practicing Law Institute (PLI), the American Bar Association and other prestigious organizations.  Parisa is co-chair of the ABA Section of Litigation and also chairs the Practicing Law Institute’s (PLI) annual conference “Defending Removal Proceedings” Parisa has provided immigration advice and guidance on a pro bono basis to a number of organizations and individuals, including Prep for Prep. Eugene Xu is a Co-founder, Chief Risk Officer and Head of Investing Technology of LibreMax. Prior to co-founding LibreMax, Mr. Xu was a Managing Director in ABS Trading at Deutsche Bank. Mr. Xu started his career at Deutsche Bank in March 2000, first as the Head of Deutsche Bank’s Residential Real Estate Asset Backed Securities Research and as the Head of ABS Trading Strategy and Quantitative Modeling in Mr. Lippmann’s group. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Mr. Xu was a Vice President in Credit Suisse Asset Securitization Department, where he was responsible for quantitative analysis, subordinate ABS strategies and other research projects. From 1996 and 1997 Mr. Xu was a Vice President in Mortgage Backed Securities Research at Chase Securities, and Mortgage Backed Securities Research at Smith Barney from 1993 to 1996. Mr Xu was also a Visiting Research Member for the Institute for Advanced Study, in Princeton, New Jersey. David Yan, PhD, Director

Dr. David Yan is a Director and the Head of CDO Research at Credit Suisse Group. As a senior researcher and strategist, Dr. Yan covers a wide range of structured products, such as CDO/CLOs, CMBS, and ABS. Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Dr. Yan worked for Merrill Lynch in the Structured Finance Research group focusing on quantitative analysis for CDOs, credit derivatives, home equities and other ABS products. Dr. Yan has published a couple of papers on credit derivatives and interest rates in academic journals, and a frequent speaker at top conferences of the securitization industry. Dr. Yan also worked at a couple of other banks developing relative value models for fixed income products and prepayment and default models for subprime mortgages. Dr. Yan is a CFA charter holder and holds a Ph.D. in Finance degree from the University of Alabama and a B.S in Economics degree from Fudan University.

Harvey Fine
Managing Director, Global Investments & Strategies,  Fosun Group

Mr. Fine is a Managing Director for Global Investments & Strategies at Fosun Group and a Managing Director of the Pramerica - Fosun China Opportunity Fund, LP.  In these roles, he focuses on Fosun’s international investments and strategic partnerships, with a particular emphasis on leading Fosun’s U.S. and private equity investments.

Prior to joining Fosun in 2010, Mr. Fine served as Managing Director for Galileo Global Advisors, LLC, where he sourced, managed and executed cross-border and emerging markets M&A transactions and led the firm’s China practice. Prior to joining Galileo, Mr. Fine was an associate at Hicks, Muse, Tate and Furst. Previously he worked for a multi-family investment office as a Principal for Private Equity investments, where he made growth equity investments in consumer product companies.

Mr. Fine received a Masters degree in International Finance, with an emphasis on Emerging Markets, from Columbia University, where he was awarded a Dean’s Fellowship and was a Research Assistant to Nobel Laureate Professor Joseph Stiglitz. 李欢，毕业于上海同济大学建筑工程系。现任瑞安房地产发展有限公司助理总经理-创智天地项目，主要负责创智天地项目三期综合项目的开发、市场和销售。2001年加入瑞安房地产并工作至今。先后在上海新天地项目、翠湖天地项目、上海瑞虹新城项目分别担任设计及协调经理，并曾任上海创智天地项目营运助理总经理。李欢在房地产的开发、市场及营运方面具有多年经验，其参与并负责的项目类型涵盖高档住宅、商业办公及五星级酒店。
